Something different.......

A while ago I mentioned that I had a project in the making. Well... it is finally completed.
I can't wait to get some use out of it. I got this idea from pininterest.

A MENU board

To make this project you need a photo frame. I purchased this one for $10.

7 wooden pegs

Make two little boxes

Some cardboard letters, stamp them with ink and then put some crystal effects on top to give it that glossy look.

Some typing on the computer. The days of the week need to be cut out and stuck onto the pegs. The meals need to be cut out, laminated and then cut out again.
A bit of work, but lots of fun.

Take the glass out of the frame and decorate with papers to fit inside the frame

WAHLAH!!!!!! The finished product.....

Some close ups. Hopefully they come out clear enough.

Every week one member of the family is allowed to select a meal of their choice. Its a good way to work out what meals they all like/prefer.
I will however, decide which day we are to consume it :)
The only problem I have now is where to hang/put it..
I hope you like my creation.

I'm hoping......

that THIS BOX is going to help me become a more organised person :)
If you read my last post I was complaining about not being as organised as I was many years ago. As soon as I saw this box in Koorong Bookshop, I knew I NEEDED it!!!! I also realised that there is obviously someone else who has trouble getting cards to people on time, so much so that they've created this wonder box. I've got big expectations riding on this box.
I hope it won't let me down.

Enough said.... Enjoy the pics....

Posted by PicasaThis box came with 40 beautiful cards for different ocassions.
I gave them to my mother-in-law as a thank you gift for looking after 3 of my children while I went to Perth with one child to see some specialists.
HAPPY ORGANISING everyone. I know I WILL!!!

Cheers, Monty

Cards galore!!!!......

There has certainly been lots of birthdays lately. I just wish I could keep up with them all. I used to be a very organised person. I always like to make sure I send cards to family to arrive before or on the actual day of their birthday.
Unfortunately, I'm not even getting close AFTER their birthday :(
Enough whinging, I should be thankful that I'm not sitting around twiddling my thumbs.

Here are some recent creations. Enjoy.
