Whaleworld...

What a great place to visit!!!
Lots of things to do, movies to see and information to digest. Both adults and kids were fascinated with this place and all its history. We all certainly had a very enjoyable morning.

Kids on the slide..

LETS SET SAIL CAPTAIN....

OK.... I've got it all under control...

I'll show you which way to go...

mmm... should we go left or right...
Trust me :o)... I'll get us there safely...

There is also an animal section you can go and visit.
Here is a tawny frogmouth

The kids all loved patting the friendly kangaroos...

This one is just like one of the grandkids...
He's looking in Oma's bag to see if shes got any lollies... LOL
Posted by PicasaAfter having our packed lunch at Whaleworld, we went around the corner to Frenchman's Bay for a swim.
Hope you enjoyed the photos.

Slowly they are all coming back... enjoying their treat from Oma

The adults got to enjoy one also....

Rose and Rowan playing cricket together on the beach

The bigger kids had a game they were all playing together on the rocks

Posted by Picasa To watch these children play, hug, laugh and joke together is priceless.
You can tell that they have a special bond with one another.
Hope you are all enjoying the festive season break.

Christmas celebrations.....

Christmas dinner was held at our house this year, or should I say last year :o)
We had a wonderful evening together enjoying yummy food,
drink and eachothers company.

Here are some photos for you.

Renae made a pinata at school so she brought it down to Albany so the little ones (and some big ones) could have some swinging fun.... It was certainly well made :o)

Rose having a hit while the others were cheering her on.
The kids also enjoyed running around with sparklers and watching Nick's sparkler bombs explode... however... I was having too much fun to capture any photos.

These flowers were given to me from a lovely family who could also join in with our christmas celebrations. They were absoulutely stunning to look at.

Posted by PicasaHope you all had a lovely Christmas. May God grant you all a blessed 2012.

My version of.....

 the Christmas Cracker.....

I made a number of these for our christmas dinner tomorrow night. The template for these I got off the Splitcoaststampers website and are called sour cream containers. They are very quick and easy to whip up. It was fun putting these together.
I hope the family like them.

They don't make any noise, don't contain any jokes, hats or little trinkets...
instead it contains....
a chocolate and a  proverb for the recipient to mull over........

Here are all the different colours to choose from

A bowl full to hand out.... 40 all up
Posted by PicasaI hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow with loved ones remembering the birth
of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
We hope to celebrate with Nick's family at our house. Should  be lots of fun once again.
May God bless you all.

More birthdays.......

Just a quick post to show you what I have been up to lately.
I've had a few friends birthdays, as well as some little friends too.

Last weekend me and my family went up to Perth to visit the FRCSR Fine Food and Craft Market. It was a wonderful morning viewing all the different crafty things and tasting yummy food also. We really enjoyed it. I spent a bit of time at one young ladies stall which had all sorts of gifts made out of paper and all made with stampin up products. Her name is Katie K... I'm not aware that she has a blog, however, I remembered one of the things she made and made my own version for my girl friends. It was a lovely, decorated cover for a box of cake mix. I loved the fact that it was such a simple, practical gift. They both loved them.
